Photo Gallery

We believe that we have the largest selection of wall-ready (matted and framed) photographic art of any gallery, anywhere in the valley. Landscapes — Nature — Quabbin Reservoir (current & historic).

Open Sundays and Wednesdays from 1pm to 5pm, spring through fall with extended hours through summer, or anytime by appointment.

You may purchase fine art archival quality matted and framed (wall ready) photographs for purchase at the gallery. We do not wish to ship matted and framed photographs.

Postproduction manipulation prior to printing is kept to a minimum and usually only involves cropping and slight adjustments in tone and color. We do not do our own printing, we use outside sources for all of our prints. We are exceptionally satisfied with the work of all these photo labs and are pleased to recommend them.

The images posted online represent a small selection of those available at Sky Meadow Gallery. All our work is available in sizes large and small, matted, framed and ready to hang on your wall.

The final touch in everyone's home decor is what they hang on the wall. These images say a lot about who you are and what your interest are. The great thing is they can be changed easily seasonally or otherwise to keep up with changing moods and/or interests.

The majority of the prints in the gallery have originated from film printed by the following companies.

Denver Imaging Center, PO Box 9506, Denver, CO 80209 | They offer high resolution pro scans and print with light jet printers on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper. A small but increasing number of our prints are from original digital images. These are often but not always printed by an archival inkjet process.

Pivot Media, 70 Maple Street, Florence, MA 01062

Ultra Color Lab, 24 Bridge Street, Watertown, MA 02472-4830 | There are subtle differences between light jet, inkjet, and C prints.

Matting & Framing

Learn a new craft and professionally frame three of your own photographs. These are three 2-hour sessions. The fee is $100 and includes mounting and matting materials. Not covered are the frames, hardware and glazing. Preferably prints should be 12 X 16 or smaller. Workshops are held at Sky Meadow Studio and are limited to three participants. Our 2018 classes are hand's on and we have fun.

If you don't have photographs but would like to learn how to mat and frame Les and Elaine will offer you the opportunity to purchase three of their images for framing in the workshop. This way you could own three of their prints all signed and framed and save $100 off the gallery price as well as having the fun of learning a new craft.
