A gift of a new camera rekindled my interest in photography. Someone suggested I should take advantage of the lessons Les was offering and the camera club he ran. I did and Les ended up becoming a photographic godfather, for me and so many others. He was a constant source of advice and inspiration, not just related to photography. There was time spent in the darkroom, roaming about the Quabbin, putting together slide programs, matting images, club meetings and social gatherings. Great gifts, including honest critiques of my images. Les was truly an original and our world is better because he was part of it.
