Joseph Platz

I admired Les for his life long dedication and commitment to photography. He was a much respected teacher as well, and influenced generations of photographers. He often expressed his appreciation for the quality of images presented at camera club meetings. He encouraged many people in a personal way in their photographic pursuits. Though constrained by failing health, his interest in and support of the clubs he founded never waned.

Thank you Les for the audacious vision you had long ago in creating the Pioneer Valley Photographic Artists, the Massachusetts Camera Naturalists and the Quabbin Photo Group.
